Top five accessories for a new owner

So you're a new owner of a golf cart and not sure what's next.

So let's explore what you need to accessorize your golf cart with if it doesn't have.

Most golf cart owners will spend hundreds if not thousands on there new golf cart on eveything from soundbars to lights and lift kits to everything in between. If your cart isn't equipped with these five must haves then you need to get them as soon as possible for hassle free ownership.

1. Mirrors

   Every golf cart should have mirrirs whether it be a single center rear view mirror or a pair of side mirrors or all three. If your lookig to upgrade your cart to make it street legal later down the road then invest in all three. Great for visibilty and can purchase and install for all well under $100.

2. Battery life meter or fuel gauge

   Any golf cart owner is in big trouble if they don't have a batter y meter gauge or fuel gauge on theri gas powered golf cart at some point. There is nothing worse than out riding your cart and your batteries run out or you are low on fuel.

   These gauges are a life save and a must have on any cart no matter how old or new.

3. Seatbelts

   If you have kids or grandkids or hell if you have parents or grandparents wo are older you dont want anyone falling off of the golf cart at any point and time. Golf carts are like cars and some are faster than others so seatbelts are a great addition and not very costly. Especially if you're once again are looking to make your cart street legal or not.

4. Rear Seat Cupholders

   Rear seat cupholders are a classic add and also give the other passengers a comfortable place to put a beverage while everone is out on an afternoon or evening ride. Inexpensive and a quick install for the DIYer and makes a great addition to your new cart.

5. Storage for your cart

   Whether it's a simple under the seat storage or a clay basket for the front of your cart storage is always a neccesity whether your heading to the community pool or out for an extended ride to a local cart nite. Coolers, towels and more need to be stored so let's make sure we have a place to put everything safely.
